Why you should choose a family lifestyle session

Hey!! Most of you I’m sure wonder what is a lifestyle session? Well, imagine you just having a normal Saturday with your family….the time you get to catch up with your kiddos playing a game they have been begging you to play, or getting cozy in mom and dads bed with lots of tickles, but I am in the background documenting all those sweet moments.

Now that you know what a lifestyle session is, here are my reasons why a lifestyle session is one you should book ASAP.

• Your home is the place where you make your best memories. Seeing your Child’s first steps to reading them a bedtime story. So why would you not want to document your family in the home that holds those memories.

• I’m sure you have many pictures on your phone of your kids playing, but what you don’t realize until you begin to look back on these pictures, is that you are usually are the one taking the pictures. When I do a lifestyle session I get to show how you look at your children with so much love. These are moments you wouldn’t normally capture!! Also lets face it, our husbands don’t always take the most flattering pictures of us moms.

• If you are someone that likes to keep things different and new, the perks to a lifestyle session is no one else’s session will look like yours. I don’t know about you but I like to set myself apart from others every once in awhile.

• A lot of families have little traditions that they do. Some may have daily dance parties or maybe you like to bake cookies all together each week. Lifestyle sessions are a great way to incoporate your traditions. It keeps the kids occupied doing something you love doing.

• Rain or shine we will be able to do a lifestyle session. No need to worry about taking your littles out in the heat or the cold fall weather. We can be comfortable in your own home.

The lovely part about doing a session in your home is this is the place your children are most comfortable. This allows them to be more themselves. You won’t have to pull teeth to make them stand still and smile. Capturing them in their element keeps everything relaxed.

Children grow up so fast. I know family sessions are easy to put on the back burner. Truth is, life will continue to be busy and we never know what the future holds. Think about today and the moments you want to freeze in time. I’m sure you can think of a few.
